Alexander
County Fire Marshall, Mark Earl heads
up our 8 community, all volunteer, fire departments. Each
community area has a fire department close by to respond
to calls; and each station has several fire fighting units
and some life saving equipment, also.
The Taylorsville
Fire Department (Central Alexander Fire Department)
is located behind Town Hall and responds to calls throughout
the Taylorsville community. Of course, depending on the
need, all departments respond to provide back up for needs
out of their community.
